Research and Development
WA CHEONG’s R&D department brings together a group of elites in advance materials development technology, and we commit ourselves to fiber-reinforced polymer composite molding process improvement, innovation and application. 29.8% of WA CHEONG's employees are college degree or above technicians. Furthermore, 11.5% of WA CHEONG's employees are technical staff of R&D department. Our R&D department team work closely with domestic and foreign professionals and leading enterprises, researching and developing for composite materials processing and molding solutions to meet customer and market demands.
Core Technology
R&D department has developed fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite material (LFT, SFT) injection molding process, continuous glass fiber reinforced thermosetting resin material pultrusion, compression molding, etc. The manufacture products have high strength, good toughness so as to fully support the applications in the field of sports and leisure equipment. In the future, R&D department will intensively study the high-strength thermoplastic products molding process to keep up with market trends, and promote the sustainable development of products and core technologies.
Patent & Prize
Up to now, WA CHEONG has nine patents authorized by the State Intellectual Property Office of China, including one invention patent and 8 utility model patents. In addition, we won the Guangzhou Science and Technology giant enterprise, Research and Development Institution, National high-tech enterprise, and many other honorary titles.
Moreover, we are expecting more exciting news on the upcoming year, since more patents and certificates are on the way in 2017.
